MALEFICE Featured On 'NBC Nightly News With Brian Williams'

"NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams" recently aired a segment on "The Death of Album Art" featuring an interview with members of the rising British metal band MALEFICE. Watch the three-and-a-half-minute report below.

MALEFICE recently inked a worldwide deal with Metal Blade Records.

Commented the group in a statement: "The best place for a band to be in this day and age is Metal Blade Records. Both MALEFICE and Metal Blade want the best for our genre, and together, we feel we can put honest heavy music, back to the top where it belongs."

MALEFICE's as-yet untitled second album is set for release in the first quarter of 2009. The CD was recorded by WellerHill, who also worked on the band's 2007 debut, "Entities" (Anticulture Records).

MALEFICE recorded a live DVD on January 30 at The Wedgewood Rooms in Portsmouth, UK. Taken from the same show is the band's new video for "Dreams Without Courage" featuring a guest appearance by Justin Hill, formery of SIKTH.
